WordPress body and mind consulting website design case: HopeLight’s service description and reservation steps

Project overview

In HopeLight’s WordPress website, we organize pages around “Service Descriptions and Reservation Steps.” We first present teachers and service directions, and then divide service selection, time slots and filling in information into steps to keep the introduction of different projects and the reservation entrance connected. Through soft background colors, traditional Chinese serif titles, rounded corner grouping and soothing white space, the brand theme, specific content and subsequent communication are arranged at different levels, allowing visitors to continue to understand the project along a clear path.

design challenge

We need to give the mind-body-spirit counseling website a place for branding and specific information. Focusing on the service description and reservation steps, the page should not only explain the content direction, but also allow visitors to find the next step. We arranged the overall theme, subdivided content and communication areas in layers to prevent different tasks from being crowded on the same screen.

Design strategy: service description and reservation steps

Explain the topic first, then go into the specific content

We first present teachers and service directions, and then divide service selection, time slots and filling in information into steps to keep the introduction of different projects and the reservation entrance connected. The home page lists consultation and course directions in independent cards, with names, durations and fees in their own places; we use groupings and serial numbers to indicate the order of appointments to avoid multiple projects competing for reading focus at the same time.

Connect pages with fonts, colors, and white space

Noto Serif TC and Roboto in page styles provide font foundation for titles and text; we establish hierarchy through font size, font weight and paragraph width. Soft background colors, Traditional Chinese serif titles, rounded corner groupings, and soothing white space are used throughout the main page. Wide spacing is maintained between columns, and images and descriptions in the same information group are connected at a tighter distance.

Make the entrance close to the current reading task

We have arranged the table of contents, detailed instructions and contact entries in their own page context. When browsing, scroll through the page to expand the content section by section, and navigation links connect different pages; the entry copy and location jointly explain the next step, keeping reading and operation connected.

This screen establishes recognition with soft background colors, Traditional Chinese serif titles, rounded corner groupings, and soothing white space. Thematic text is kept adjacent to the main entrance, and pictures, titles, and supplementary descriptions are separated by scale and spacing to keep the first layer of information focused.

Home page content: Organize different topics separately

HopeLight homepage content: organize different topics separately

Our homepage lists consultation and course directions on independent cards, with names, durations and fees in their own places; we use groupings and serial numbers to indicate the order of appointments to avoid multiple projects competing for reading focus at the same time.

We use module boundaries and image and text alignment to establish a reading order: the content within the group is kept compact, and pauses are maintained between groups to make the direction of column switching and continued browsing clear and discernible.

Service introduction: Break down the service topic into clear information groups

HopeLight Service Introduction: Split service topics into clear information groups

Our service page gathers the introduction, content and related instructions under one theme. The title first explains the direction, and the text is expanded paragraph by paragraph. The page design focuses on information understanding and does not write the brand copy as a proven service effect.

This page follows a soft background color, Traditional Chinese serif headings, rounded corner groupings, and soothing white space. We use the difference in word weight between the title and the main text to indicate the priority, connect the same group of information with an alignment relationship, and distinguish different tasks through white space to maintain visual continuity across pages.

Brand introduction: Supplementary brand and team background

Our teacher introduction page uses characters and words to establish a starting point for understanding. Names, backgrounds, and service directions are distinguished by levels and paragraph spacing to help visitors continue to understand the project content.

Product Classification: Establish a clear comparative order for the catalog

Our store page uses cards to display actual products, with pictures, names and related information arranged in a unified position; product browsing and consultation appointments are distinguished by respective columns.

Mobile homepage: reallocate space according to narrow screen

HopeLight mobile homepage: reallocate space according to narrow screen

On mobile, we expand the images, titles, and descriptions on the homepage to the currently available width. The image retains the brand identity and the actual content of the corresponding page, and is arranged vertically so that each set of information has an independent reading area.

We maintain hierarchy through title wrapping, image scale, and white space between groups, so that the main content is seen first, and subsequent instructions appear in order; the top navigation is transformed into an entry form suitable for narrow screens, continuing the color and text language of the desktop.

Design summary: Let different pages unfold around the same path

In HopeLight’s website, we use service descriptions and reservation steps as clues for content organization, and use soft background colors, traditional Chinese serif titles, rounded corner groupings, and soothing white space to connect different pages. The home page establishes direction, the inner pages carry specific information, and the mobile layout continues to retain the same reading level, allowing brand identification and business content to remain consistent.
