Project overview
Product pictures of retro outdoor wall lamps need to present the decorative appearance, structure and installation conditions in layers. This case focuses on the existing 6 Ozon Russian works, dismantling the arrangements for product identification, theme description and condition verification. For brands and sellers who are preparing to produce pictures of similar products, the focus is not only on the style of the pictures, but also on understanding how different pictures distribute information so that product-related questions have corresponding reading positions.

design challenge
Outdoor wall lights should not only describe the appearance and light source, but also check the interface, protection, structure and size. The material and weather-resistant text should have corresponding parts, and the rain and snow background cannot be used to replace the grade and product information.
Design strategy: Let the entire group of works form a clear information relationship
01 Allocate information tasks first, and then arrange the key points of the screen
The work is expanded according to “Installation main product image → Material theme → Weather theme → Structural details → Installation environment → Size”. Figure 1 establishes the identification first, and then switches the composition and description position according to the actual theme. This division of information allows different questions to have their own place, reducing the need to pile up all the text in the first image, and preventing subsequent images from simply repeating the same product photo.
02 Use a consistent visual language to connect different reading tasks
The bronze-gold lamp body and warm light echo the retro theme. The light beige function page, dark parameter bar and white size page distinguish tasks. The circular close-up runs through the structural description. The unified style serves the entire group identification, and composition changes serve different contents; the main title, auxiliary labels and product proportions in the picture jointly determine the reading order.
03 Reduce the explanation to specific parts, actions or choices
The focus of this group of works is on layering the decorative appearance, structure and installation conditions. When dismantling, look at the correspondence between the whole machine and parts, themes and conditions: when there is structural information, look at the positional relationship, when there is scene information, look at the objects used, and when there are numbers, look at the categories and limiting conditions. Letting each picture answer a specific question has more explanatory value than repeatedly emphasizing the excellence of the product.
Dismantling the work: explaining the screen arrangement and information responsibilities of each picture
Figure 1|Installing the main product image: Let the lamp body and light source conditions be on the same page

The lit wall lamp is installed on the wall. The dark column on the side organizes the power, IPX4 and matching light bulb themes. The E27 mark remains at the bottom.
The installation status clearly identifies the category, and the condition bar supports light source and interface verification, which not only displays a retro atmosphere.
Figure 2|Material theme: Use guide lines to locate different parts

The sconce is in the center, with lines pointing towards the housing and shade respectively, with color swatches on the sides finishing the black and gold theme.
The instructions have corresponding structures, and the colors and parts can be searched separately; the specific materials still need to be checked with the product information.
Figure 3|Weather theme: Keep the protection level eye-catching

The light body in the background of raindrops is on the right, and environmental icons such as IPX4, rain and snow are arranged separately on the left.
The environment map establishes the theme, the grade text provides a checkpoint, and weather photos are not rewritten as all-weather performance guarantees.
Figure 4 | Structural details: circular enlargement to explain different positions

A close-up of the circular curved bracket, upper cover, lampshade and lower part connected in series next to the complete wall lamp, with dotted lines connecting the positions.
Each round frame is responsible for a part, so that the decorative details and connection structure can be observed, avoiding the repetition of the complete lamp body.
Figure 5|Installation environment: four grids provide spatial reference

Entrances, garages, corridors and courtyard-related environments display the installation presentation of wall lights respectively, with white labels corresponding to the positions.
Environmental comparison helps to imagine the placement effect. The actual installation conditions and quantities still need to be confirmed on site.
Figure 6|Size check: distinguish between total height and partial height

The whole machine is placed on a white background, with multiple horizontal and vertical arrows marking the overall height, bracket range, lampshade width and other directions.
Clear directional lines support space verification, allowing you to rationally judge the entrance after decorating it.
Delivery summary and design value
The entire team delivers with a clear division of labor
The 6 works in this case respectively cover “Installation of main product image → Material theme → Weather theme → Structural details → Installation environment → Size”. The number of images depends on the actual content, and each image has its own theme while maintaining an overall identity through color, text hierarchy, or composition.
Procurement issues can be more easily mapped to specific information
Focusing on retro outdoor wall lamps, the works will “present the decorative appearance, structure and installation conditions in layers” into different pictures. When brands plan similar designs, they can first list the content that consumers need to identify, understand and check, and then determine the tasks and order of primary and secondary product images.
Value is based on interpretive methods and authentic works
The whole machine, part, scene and information cards provide different reading entrances, helping to organize product descriptions more clearly. The value of this case is the visible design expression and information division of labor; changes in click-through rates, sales, and conversion rates require additional statistical or test data support.
The parameters, materials and functions in this article are used to explain the content of the accompanying pictures. The specific specifications, applicable conditions and accompanying items are subject to the product information of the corresponding model. There are differences in the markings on some parts of the original image, which need to be checked before being used as product information.
Plan clearer product images for your Ozon products
If you also need to plan primary and secondary product images for your Ozon retro outdoor wall lamp, you can submit product links, existing pictures or product information to AIRSANG, explain the target market and required picture group range, and communicate the information organization and visual direction suitable for the product.
