Focusing on the DIY felt Christmas tree, we organized parent-child scenarios and installation instructions into a set of English product pictures. The entire set of works adopts the visual language of Christmas red and green, warm home colors, and festive decoration titles. Through the division of labor in different pictures, the product appearance, local information and usage scenarios are gradually presented.

Design Challenge: Let different information have its place
This set of works needs to explain the felt tree itself, decorative accessories and arrangement process. We alternately arrange tiled lists and parent-child scenes, and use red and green colors to connect the entire set of pictures so that both the festive atmosphere and product information can be seen.
Our design strategy
The overview and dimensions use a clean, light background, while the usage context uses a warm home background.
The before and after decoration, local materials and operation sequence are separated into pictures to establish a reading path from understanding to layout.
Product Overview: Complete display of tree body and decoration combinations

We use a white background to present the green felt tree and reindeer-shaped storage bag, and the red decoration becomes an eye-catching embellishment. Leave white space around the main body so that the outline of the tree, the position of accessories and the overall proportion can be recognized first.
Dimensions and accessories: information organized by region

We placed the width and height lines of the tree directly on both sides of the outer contour, and the decorative components were arranged separately. Primary and secondary font sizes and group spacing separate dimensions and lists, so readers don’t have to search for tree specifications in a row of accessories.
Arrangement comparison: use the same frame to present the before and after state

We display undecorated and decorated trees side by side, unifying the image with a green border. The two sides remain of similar proportions, so changes as decoration is added are easier to observe.
Detailed description: Extracting parts from children’s scenes

We let the children’s layout occupy the main body, and then used three circular close-ups to supplement the materials and connecting details. The circular border separates local information from the environment, and short instructions are arranged along the bottom.
Operation steps: Use numbers to control reading order

We divide the expansion and arrangement process into four steps, and the numbers and illustrations correspond one to one. Leave an independent text area for each step so that the description content will not be squeezed into the operation photos, forming a stable reading rhythm from left to right.
Parent-child interaction: putting products back into the family space

We used the situation of the father and the child on the ground to retain the relationship between the actions and the tree body. The warm color environment echoes the green main body, allowing the picture group to naturally transition from specification introduction to festive activities.
Gift situation: Characters are the main focus, and products are the anchor.

We used photos of family gifts to create a festive atmosphere and added circular product images in the corners. The small picture assumes the responsibility of identification, and the title is unfolded in a cleaner position to prevent the gift box, characters and text from competing for the center at the same time.
Deliver and design value
This set of works contains a total of 7 product pictures. We arranged the responsibilities of different pictures around parent-child situations and installation instructions, and maintained the visual consistency of the entire set with titles of Christmas red and green, warm home colors, and festive decorations. From overall identification to partial explanation, the pictures complement each other, allowing readers to find information based on their own concerns.
