Project overview
The product picture of the portable steam iron needs to explain the ironing structure, size and use objects layer by layer. This case focuses on the existing 7 Russian works of Ozon, dismantling the arrangements for product identification, theme description and condition verification. For brands and sellers who are preparing to produce pictures of similar products, the focus is not only on the style of the pictures, but also on understanding how different pictures distribute information so that product-related questions have corresponding reading positions.

design challenge
Small irons should be explained in terms of form, operation, storage and fabric range at the same time. The picture set needs to complement each other with the handheld state and structural details. The small body alone cannot allow consumers to understand all usage methods.
Design strategy: Let the entire group of works form a clear information relationship
01 Allocate information tasks first, and then arrange the key points of the screen
The works are expanded according to “Handheld Overview → Structural Operation → Portable Size → Usage Mode → Accessories → Fabric → Life Use”. Figure 1 establishes the identification first, and then switches the composition and description position according to the actual theme. This division of information allows different questions to have their own place, reducing the need to pile up all the text in the first image, and preventing subsequent images from simply repeating the same product photo.
02 Use a consistent visual language to connect different reading tasks
Warm white, copper brown and teal form the home tone; rounded corner cards, dimension lines and fabric textures carry functions, specifications and uses respectively. The unified style serves the entire group identification, and composition changes serve different contents; the main title, auxiliary labels and product proportions in the picture jointly determine the reading order.
03 Reduce the explanation to specific parts, actions or choices
The focus of this group of works is to explain the ironing structure, size and use objects layer by layer. When dismantling, look at the correspondence between the whole machine and parts, themes and conditions: when there is structural information, look at the positional relationship, when there is scene information, look at the objects used, and when there are numbers, look at the categories and limiting conditions. Letting each picture answer a specific question has more explanatory value than repeatedly emphasizing the excellence of the product.
Dismantling the work: explaining the screen arrangement and information responsibilities of each picture
Figure 1 | Handheld overview: putting power and operating status together

Holding the copper brown body in hand, the ironing panel is turned towards the camera, 800W and 30 seconds are marked on both sides, and the measuring cup prompt appears separately.
The holding diagram helps to understand the product form, the numbers have corresponding positions, and the accessories indicate not to block the main body.
Figure 2 | Structural operation: three cards explain three parts

The protruding front end, one-button control and base are presented in sequence with partial photos and text cards, with blue and brown distinguishing information.
Each grid corresponds to a specific part, shifting from overall understanding to operation and placement issues, making it easy to search item by item.
Figure 3|Portable size: allow size and cord length to be checked

The product is on the same page as the suitcase. The body size lines are arranged along the outline, and the 600g and 1.6m line lengths are placed on separate labels.
The size arrows illustrate the direction, the luggage provides environmental reference, and the weight and cord length help determine carrying and usage conditions.
Figure 4|Usage mode: showing the difference in movements using a four-square grid

The screens for hanging clothes, handheld and flat ironing are divided into four grids, and each grid is connected with a blue icon for instructions.
Patterns are not just numbers, action pictures explain how they differ; the care subject in the picture is not a test result.
Figure 5|Accessories list: Connect items and names one by one

The main unit, base, measuring cups and instructions are displayed separately, with guide points and short labels corresponding to each item.
Directly draw the accompanying contents to help consumers distinguish the host and supporting supplies and complete the purchase list check.
Figure 6 | Fabric Range: Organizing Categories with Texture Samples

Eight fabric swatches are arranged in white cardstock, complementing steam panels and technical themes below.
Texture supports quick identification of categories. For specific applicable conditions, you still need to check the product information and clothing care instructions.
Figure 7|Life use: Use six scenes to expand the entrance to understanding

Clothing, toys, curtains, bedding, pillows, etc. are arranged in six grids, with copper brown and blue labels continuing the series.
The scenario answer may be used where it complements the previous structure and specifications and does not directly infer any disinfection effect.
Delivery summary and design value
The entire team delivers with a clear division of labor
The 7 works in this case respectively cover “handheld overview → structural operation → portable size → usage mode → accessories → fabric → daily use”. The number of images depends on the actual content, and each image has its own theme while maintaining an overall identity through color, text hierarchy, or composition.
Procurement issues can be more easily mapped to specific information
Focusing on the portable steam iron, the work will “explain the ironing structure, size and use objects layer by layer” into different pictures. When brands plan similar designs, they can first list the content that consumers need to identify, understand and check, and then determine the tasks and order of primary and secondary product images.
Value is based on interpretive methods and authentic works
The whole machine, part, scene and information cards provide different reading entrances, helping to organize product descriptions more clearly. The value of this case is the visible design expression and information division of labor; changes in click-through rates, sales, and conversion rates require additional statistical or test data support.
The parameters, materials and functions in this article are used to explain the content of the accompanying pictures. The specific specifications, applicable conditions and accompanying items are subject to the product information of the corresponding model.
Plan clearer product images for your Ozon products
If you also need to plan primary and secondary product images for your Ozon portable steam iron, you can submit product links, existing pictures or product information to AIRSANG, explain the target market and required picture group range, and communicate the information organization and visual direction suitable for the product.
