Project Challenges
The core challenge of this project is how to highlight product features in the fiercely competitive SHEIN wedding dress market while establishing a unified and high-end store visual image. We need to solve the problems of insufficiently intuitive display of different wedding dress styles, unclear visual hierarchy of posters, and insufficient combination of brand atmosphere and product selling points. Before starting the project, we first analyzed the wedding dress consumer groups on the SHEIN platform, the visual style and product display characteristics of similar stores, classified and organized the wedding dress materials provided by customers, and sorted out the tailoring, fabrics and design details of different styles. Subsequently, we determined the core design direction of romantic coast, natural light and shadow, light luxury and simplicity, and planned the themes, model compositions, scene matching and copywriting layout of the seven posters. While maintaining the unity of the overall style, we gave each poster an independent display focus, taking into account visual beauty and commercial communication needs.
1. The first poster: building a romantic brand first screen with architectural space and sea view

Design theme: A Love Story in Every Detail
The first poster is mainly responsible for the task of displaying the store’s brand image. We chose bright coastal buildings as the overall scene, using cream-white stone walls, arched building structures, light gauze curtains and azure sea to create a romantic and high-end visual atmosphere.
In the composition of the picture, we arranged two models wearing white lace wedding dresses in the middle and right areas to show the front and side effects of the wedding dress respectively. Such an arrangement can not only enhance the richness of the overall picture, but also allow consumers to observe the bra structure, waistline cut, lace texture and skirt outline of the wedding dress from different perspectives.
We deliberately retain the complete body proportions of the model and the tail of the wedding dress to make the product more natural and avoid over-cutting from affecting consumers’ judgment of the actual style.
The architectural space on the left provides a relatively quiet visual area for copywriting. We used elegant English serif fonts to highlight “A Love Story in Every Detail” and used concise auxiliary copy to emphasize the emotional connection between the wedding dress and important moments in life.
In terms of color palette, we have a soft contrast of cream white, light beige and ocean blue. The warm-colored buildings reflect delicacy and warmth, while the blue seascape gives the picture a sense of openness and tranquility.
We hope that when consumers first enter the store, they will see not only wedding products, but also a beautiful imagination about a romantic wedding.
2. The second poster: showing the lightness and elegance of the wedding dress from two perspectives

Design theme: A Love Story in Every Detail
The second poster continues to extend the theme of coastal romance, but we adjusted the proportions and visual focus of the scene to make the wedding dress itself a more direct focus.
The model on the left side of the picture shows a tube top wedding dress from the front, gently lifting the skirt to show the light texture and natural drape effect of the skirt fabric. The model on the right is looking back, showing off the beautiful silhouette formed by the back design of the wedding dress and the extension of the skirt.
We use the model positions in different directions to give the same poster a multi-angle display effect similar to a fashion album.
In terms of background processing, we retained the simple coastal stone steps, calm sea surface and distant mountains to avoid distracting consumers’ attention with too many decorative elements. The sunlight shines on the white skirt, causing the light tulle layer to show soft light and dark changes, further highlighting the three-dimensional structure of the wedding dress.
The copy is placed in the top center of the screen. We use large-sized serif fonts and a more restrained transparent background processing to allow the text to blend naturally with the sea and sky environment.
This design focuses on conveying the product impression of “elegant, light and natural”. We use a clear visual order to allow consumers to quickly capture the style features of the wedding dress and at the same time feel the brand’s exquisite and romantic aesthetic positioning.
3. The third poster: Establishing awareness of wedding dress details through long shots and close-ups

Design theme: Every Love Deserves a Beautiful Beginning
The third poster adopts a visual structure that combines a full-body display with a close-up of the upper body, focusing on the exquisite craftsmanship and wearing effect of the wedding dress.
We placed a model wearing a V-neck gauze wedding dress at the center left of the picture, showing the overall proportions, waistline design and multi-layered skirt of the wedding dress through a complete standing posture.
Another model appears in larger proportions on the right, focusing on the tulle embellishments on the shoulders, the deep V-neck structure, bodice details and fabric texture.
This combination of one far and one near allows consumers to understand the overall style and partial design of the wedding dress at the same time, making up for the problem of insufficient information displayed from a single perspective.
We chose a circular building platform by the sea as the display space for the models. The geometric architectural lines set off the light and soft wedding fabrics, creating a visual contrast between rigidity and softness.
In terms of copywriting, we used “Every Love Deserves a Beautiful Beginning” to convey the emotional value of a romantic wedding, and set the main title in the upper left area to form a balance with the large-scale model on the right.
At the same time, we control the contrast between the background color and the text color, using soft gray-brown text to maintain the unity of the entire picture.
The design goal of this poster is to enhance the visibility of the material, cut and decorative details of the wedding dress while enhancing emotional expression, making the product display more complete and convincing.
4. The fourth poster: using large areas of blank space to show high-end wedding dress aesthetics

Design theme: Breathe in the Sea Breeze
The fourth poster takes a simple and transparent space composition as the core. We hope to create a visual effect closer to the fashion blockbuster of an international wedding dress brand.
Compared with the first three posters, this version increases the open space on the right side of the picture, allowing the seascape, sky and architecture to form a breathable visual background.
We arranged two models on the left side of the screen, one showing the front of the wedding dress, and the other showing the back lace-up structure and long tail, so that consumers can clearly observe the slim silhouette and skirt expansion effect of the mermaid wedding dress.
The echo between the two models gives the picture the integrity of a product display and the sense of story of fashion photography.
In order to enhance the wedding atmosphere of the scene, we added white floral decorations on both sides of the building. These decorations maintain a similar color relationship with the wedding dress, which will not steal the visual focus, but can naturally strengthen the wedding theme.
In terms of text design, we placed “Breathe in the Sea Breeze” in the open area on the right, using an elegant large-size italic serif font to highlight the themes of sea breeze, romance and freedom.
We pay special attention to the use of white space. The large sea view and simple architecture can not only reduce visual pressure, but also make the entire store visually lighter and more refined.
Through this poster, we hope to let consumers feel that in addition to being gorgeous and ceremonial, wedding dresses can also have a modern aesthetic of freedom, nature and comfort.
5. The fifth poster: Improve the browsing efficiency of wedding dress products through classified display

Design theme: Product Collections
The fifth poster assumes the function of product classification guidance. Compared with image posters that emphasize emotional atmosphere, we pay more attention to consumers’ browsing logic and the differences between different wedding dress styles.
We arranged four models in the same banner, showing four wedding dress categories:
- Spaghetti Strap Wedding Dress : Spaghetti strap wedding dress.
- Strapless Wedding Dress : Tubeless wedding dress.
- Off-the-Shoulder Wedding Dress : Off-the-shoulder wedding dress.
- Mermaid Wedding Dress : Mermaid wedding dress.
In terms of visual composition, we allowed the four models to present nearly unified postures and display proportions, and highlighted various product features through different wedding dress necklines, shoulder designs and skirt shape changes.
The background continues to use coastal buildings, soft gauze curtains and blue seascapes, making the classified posters consistent with the previous brand image posters.
We set “Product Collections” at the top of the screen, established a clear information hierarchy with large serif fonts, and marked the corresponding English category names under each model.
This arrangement method allows consumers to identify different wedding dress styles in a short time and select the product category of interest based on their own preferences.
We did not use complex borders or strong color block divisions, but established clear classification relationships through natural spacing between models, giving the entire poster a coherent visual effect.
In SHEIN store design, classified posters not only play a decorative role, but also serve as an important guiding element for consumers to find products. Therefore, we place equal importance on visual beauty and information clarity.
6. The sixth poster: Using double scenes of the same style to enhance the texture expression of the fishtail wedding dress

Design theme: Where Love Meets the Sea
The sixth poster focuses on a white off-shoulder long-sleeved mermaid wedding dress, emphasizing the elegant silhouette and exquisite details of the product through different lens ratios.
We arrange a full-body model on the left side of the screen to fully demonstrate the slim waistline, fishtail skirt shape, transparent lace sleeves and naturally extending skirt. The right side adopts a half-body close-up composition, allowing consumers to more intuitively observe the folds of the bra, the texture of the cuffs and the cut of the shoulders.
This combination reduces the visual jump required for consumers to understand the product, allowing the overall style and local craftsmanship to be connected in the same picture.
For the background, we chose a seaside space with a curved architectural structure. The soft curves not only echo the natural silhouette of the wedding dress, but also bring modern architectural aesthetics to the picture.
We set up the “Where Love Meets the Sea” theme copy in the central area to emphasize the connection between ocean romance and wedding dress design.
In terms of layout, we reserved sufficient text space and used soft colors to coordinate the text and background so that the visual focus is always around the wedding dress.
This poster focuses on our detailed thinking in the visual design of wedding dress products: not only should consumers see the beauty of the wedding dress, but also through a reasonable combination of lenses, help consumers understand the style, layering and wearing effect of the clothing.
7. The seventh poster: Using the beach wedding scene to arouse consumers’ emotional resonance

Design theme: Romantic Beach Wedding Collection
The seventh poster takes a real wedding atmosphere as the creative direction. We extend the visual scene from simple coastal architecture to a romantic beach wedding scene.
In the picture, four models are wearing white wedding dresses of different designs, showing styles such as deep V-neck, tube top, spaghetti straps and off-the-shoulder styles.
We added white floral wedding arches, soft gauze curtains, coastline and sunset shadows in the background to create a more direct connection between the wedding dress and the wedding environment.
Different from pure product display, this poster focuses on the usage scenarios and emotional value of the wedding dress.
Consumers can not only see different styles of wedding dresses, but also imagine themselves wearing wedding dresses to attend the wedding through the seaside wedding atmosphere.
In terms of composition, we evenly distributed the four models in the horizontal space, while using floral arches to establish a natural rhythm in the picture.
Instead of adding a ton of promotional text, we let the dress, the pose, and the wedding environment all tell a visual story. Such a design can reduce the sense of commercial advertising and enhance the romantic experience.
The warm light of the sunset forms a natural contrast with the blue sea surface, making the white wedding dress more prominent in the picture, and adding a warm and emotional finish to the entire coastal series.
We hope that through this poster, consumers will connect the product with important moments in life, thereby further enhancing their interest in wedding dress styles.
