Coupang banana shape teether primary and secondary product images design case: shape details and holding scale

In the design of the Coupang primary and secondary product images of the banana-shaped teether, we organized the content around the styling details and holding scale. Through bright yellow and white, circular partial frames, and concise size lines, product identification, partial descriptions, and scene information are arranged at different levels, allowing readers to continue to understand the products in a clear order.

Design challenge: Separate different reading tasks

This set of primary and secondary product images should not only retain the identity of the banana-shaped teether, but also accommodate different themes such as styling details and holding size. Instead of letting each picture carry all the information repeatedly, we separated the whole, parts and scenes, and controlled the distance between titles, pictures and descriptions.

Our design strategy

We use bright yellow and white, circular partial frames, and simple dimension lines to establish a continuous visual language so that the subject can be clearly identified from the background. The title uses an obvious font size and weight hierarchy, and the supplementary description is relegated to the next level to avoid decoration, photos and text competing for attention at the same time.

In terms of content organization, we divide chapters according to the themes of real works: use larger pictures to establish overall relationships, use parts and diagrams to explain details, and then use bounded text areas or lists to organize supplementary information. Each image has different responsibilities, and consistent margins and information placement maintain the continuity of the entire set.

Structural overview: three partial boxes surrounding the main body

We have the banana shape spread out centrally on a white background, with round windows complementing the handle, grip and surface details. Thin lines only connect corresponding areas, and the complete outline remains clear.

Explanation of points: The text on the left corresponds to the close-up view on the right

Banana-shaped teether: point description: the text on the left corresponds to the close-up view on the right

We organize the text with three numbers, and a photo of a hand bending the product takes up the other side. The white background and light fonts reduce interference and make the division of graphics and text clearer.

Styling theme: Use color blocks and circles to organize two close shots

Banana-shaped teether: styling theme: two close-ups using color blocks and circles

We placed two large circular windows from different angles, and the yellow-green background echoes the product itself. Keep independent spacing between the upper and lower photos, and the handle and brush head each have their own display space.

People and details: Arrange large and small photos separately

We zoom in on a part of the product at the top, and supplement the situation with six-frame photos of people at the bottom. Image scale differentiates responsibilities, and scenes do not crowd out structural illustration.

Combination information: Size and scene are divided into four areas

We put the size indication, character pictures and two partial pictures into a four-frame structure. The boundaries of each box are clear, and readers can browse block by block according to their concerns.

Ruler Reference: Illustrating Mass with a Common Baseline

Banana Teether: Ruler Reference: Illustrating Mass with a Common Baseline

We place the product lengthwise with a ruler graphic next to it. The large white background and complete outer outline allow the volume relationship to be intuitively displayed, and the text is kept simple.

Storage size: two views from the front side juxtaposed

We use the front and side of the storage box to describe the shape, and the blue dotted line mark expands along the outer edge. The same background color and scale connect the two views, allowing the storage theme to be read independently.

Deliver and design value

Through this set of 7 product pictures, we establish a continuous reading path around the styling details and holding scale. Bright yellow and white, circular partial frames, and concise size lines connect different chapters. Image scale, text level, and white space jointly distinguish the primary and secondary, so that the product overview and partial descriptions complement each other.
